It's just advice, you're about to give up on the best simulation of the market (and really, from very very far). Otherwise, you will ruin your experience and you will see that the many bad side, and you will say constantly AC is more realistic/better graphics-performance etc. It should not be a consumer like with RF1, but be selective for the mod car actually exploit the huge capacity of the physics engine of RF2. I advise you not to download any mod car: The essence of RF2 is to get as close as possible to professional simulations (eg RfactorPRO). To have access, and very very far, to the best overall realism, all simulations combined. If you want to appreciate it, you'll have to understand why you're bored with this gas plant: RF2 is a "gas plant" (French expression). If you prefer (like the majority of people, and there is no harm in it), the immersion / sensations / graphics / sounds + choice of the season of F1 (V10 etc.): look at the modding, as on AC there is almost everything.īut you will surely sacrifice realism + or - depending on the mods. Then start up rFactor2 and click the box icon. Download this and stick it in the 'Packages' folder of your rFactor2 folder (Program Filesx86, Steam, common, steamapps, rFactor2 should be the file path on your computer if you are on windows). I'm pretty sure you will not have more realism on the other simulations. Hope this helps Edit: when you find a mod online there will usually be a download for an '.rfcmp' file. Click to expand. If you are mainly interested in realism:
